A love letter to Merce Cunningham, great icon of modern dance, LIFE takes up a challenge that raises Gandini Juggling’s art to its peak. What challenge could be more fraught than attempting to transpose to another discipline the spirit, audacity and methods of an artist who revolutionised contemporary dance, over which he reigned for decades ? Yet that is precisely what LIFE achieves, bringing dance and juggling together in breathtaking style. For thirty years Sean Gandini dreamt of daring to put on this show, which requires performers of unparalleled skill. Hun manier om de jongleerkunst te combineren met numeriek jongleren, dans, ballet en de bijhorende choreografie, maakt van dit collectief een unicum in de circuswereld. Benieuwd naar hoe ze dit doen?
